Cable Modem to Computer

There are two ends to the Ethernet cable.
1. Insert one end of the Ethernet cable into the NIC’s Ethernet port.
2. On the back of the cable modem, there is another Ethernet port. Plug in the other end of the Ethernet port.
After installation of the USB adapter, you’ll now need to install the necessary drivers. Most systems automatically detect new hardware. Refer to the manufacturer’s CD for the name of the required network adapter you originally installed to access the driver software. Your network adapter will not work unless the correct driver software is installed.
